How Much Does Furniture Assembly Cost?
No hidden fees, but the total does depend on what you're booking. Here is exactly how it breaks down.
The basics
Every booking includes a visit fee (covers travel and equipment) plus a labour rate per item. Small items start from £45. Your assembler confirms the exact total on arrival, based on what you actually need assembled.
Multi-item discount
Booking several items in one visit saves you money: 10% off labour from the 3rd item onwards, rising to 15% off for 5 items or more. Add everything to one booking rather than splitting it across separate visits.
When a surcharge applies
A £10 weekend surcharge applies to Saturday bookings. An urgent or same-day booking (outside our normal scheduling) adds £25. Both are disclosed upfront when you book — never added after the fact.
Optional extra: cardboard and packaging removal
Assembly itself doesn't include hauling away the cardboard and packaging afterwards — but you can add it as an optional extra for +£50 when you book, or ask your assembler about it on the day. It's only available alongside an assembly booking, not as a standalone visit.
What is never charged
No travel surcharge regardless of postcode or distance — our prices already include travel across every area we cover. No charge for tools or equipment.
