Yes — carrying furniture up stairs without a lift takes significantly more time and effort, so a surcharge of +£15 per floor applies (ground floor = no charge). For example: 1st floor = +£15, 2nd floor = +£30, 3rd floor = +£45. This is always agreed and disclosed before work starts.

How quickly can you assemble my furniture?

We offer same-week appointments across London. For urgent jobs, same-day slots are often available at a small surcharge. Book online and we'll confirm your slot within 2 hours.

Use our online booking form — it takes less than 3 minutes. Choose your service, describe your furniture, pick a date and time, and enter your contact details. We'll confirm within 2 hours.

Do you work weekends?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Weekend slots are popular, so we recommend booking a few days ahead for Saturday appointments.

Can I book same-day?

Yes, subject to availability. Select "Urgent booking" when you complete the form and we'll do our best to accommodate. An urgent surcharge of £25 applies.

Do you assemble IKEA furniture?

Yes — IKEA is our most popular service. We assemble all IKEA products including PAX wardrobes, HEMNES beds, KALLAX shelving, BILLY bookcases, MALM furniture, BESTA units and everything else.

Can you assemble IKEA furniture the same day it's delivered?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you know your delivery date, book us for the same day or the following day. We regularly complete same-day assembly after IKEA deliveries.

Do you need the IKEA instructions?

No — we know most IKEA products by heart. But if you have the instructions, feel free to keep them nearby. We'll reference them if needed.

How much does furniture assembly cost in London?

Accepted Answer

Every booking includes a £65 visit/callout fee (covers travel and equipment), plus a fixed labour rate per item — from £45 for a simple office chair up to £370 for a large PAX wardrobe suite (3+ sections). Example: a king-size bed is £95 labour + £65 visit fee = £160 total. All prices are fixed with no hourly rates.

Is the price confirmed before work starts?

Prices on our website are approximate starting rates. Your assembler confirms the exact total on arrival — after seeing the actual furniture — because the final price depends on size, complexity, and any access factors. No work begins until you agree the price. The only additions are disclosed surcharges such as urgent booking (+£25), weekend (+£10), or no-lift floor access (+£15/floor).

How do I pay?

Payment is on completion of the job — cash or card (Square reader). We don't take payment upfront. You only pay when you're happy with the work.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel is covered by the £65 visit fee that applies to every booking — there are no additional travel surcharges on top of that within London.

Do I need to provide tools?

No. Our assembler brings every tool needed — power drills, screwdrivers, mallets, Allen keys, and specialist tools for specific brands. You don't need to own a single piece of equipment.

Do you assemble all furniture brands?

Yes. IKEA is our speciality but we assemble furniture from any brand — Argos, Wayfair, John Lewis, Next, Made.com, Dunelm, B&Q, Harvey Norman, and more.

What if something is damaged or missing?

Accepted Answer

We check all parts before and during assembly. If we discover a damaged or missing part, we'll let you know immediately so you can contact the retailer for a replacement.

Do you test the furniture after assembly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, always. Every item is tested before we leave — drawers opened and closed, doors checked for alignment, beds tested for stability. We won't leave until you're satisfied.
